HousIQ is operated by Dravara, LLC ("HousIQ," "we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when people use HousIQ, visit housiqhq.com, contact support, or start a trial or paid subscription.

- Household information, such as household names, member nicknames, room names, checklists, and task assignments
- Task and routine data, such as templates, completion history, points, notes, and household workflow settings
- Billing and subscription information, such as subscription status, Stripe customer identifiers, and trial eligibility status
- Support communications, such as support tickets, email correspondence, attachments, and internal support notes
- Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, and security or diagnostic logs
- Location-related information you provide, such as ZIP code and related weather preferences
Sources Of Information
We collect information:
- Directly from you when you sign up, create a household, add members, create tasks, make payments, or contact us
- From other household members or account owners who invite or configure your access
- From service providers that help us operate the service, such as payment, authentication, hosting, email, and support vendors
- Automatically from your browser, device, and use of the service
How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve HousIQ
- Create and manage accounts, households, memberships, and invited household access
- Process billing, subscriptions, trials, cancellations, and related support requests
- Send transactional emails, login links, invite emails, receipts, support replies, and service notices
- Provide weather or location-based household features when you choose to enable them
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and misuse of the service
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, and resolve disputes
- Analyze product usage and improve the service, including household workflows and recommendations
Legal Bases For Processing
If you are in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis, we generally rely on:
- Contractual necessity, to provide the service you request
- Legitimate interests, such as service security, fraud prevention, support, recommendation quality, product improvement, and basic service analytics

How We Share Information
We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary to operate HousIQ and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. HousIQ does not store full payment card numbers. We may receive subscription status, billing identifiers, and limited payment-related metadata from those providers.
Sensitive Personal Information
We may handle limited categories of information that some laws treat as sensitive, such as account login credentials, the contents of support communications you send us, payment-related identifiers returned by payment processors, and household or account data needed to secure access to the service.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We use it only as reasonably necessary to provide the services you request, secure accounts, detect fraud or abuse, process transactions, respond to support requests, and comply with law.
Children's Information
Children under 13 may not create independent HousIQ accounts.
Minor household profiles are created and managed by a parent, guardian, or other authorized adult household account. We use minor profile data only to provide the household features requested by the adult account owner, to operate the service, and to improve general product functionality.
We do not use children's data for targeted advertising or sell children's personal information.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above.
- Account and household data are generally retained while the account remains active and for a reasonable period after closure
- Billing, tax, and payment records may be retained as required by law or accounting obligations
- Support records may be retained to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and improve support operations
- Security and diagnostic logs may be kept for shorter operational and security periods
International Transfers
HousIQ is based in the United States and uses service providers that may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections or recognized adequacy mechanisms. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Automated Decision-Making
HousIQ may use rules or product logic to suggest assignments, points, recommendations, or workload balancing. We do not use automated decision-making to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about people.

California
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about the categories of personal information we collect, the sources of that information, the purposes for using it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, we will update this policy and provide any opt-out method required by law.
To the extent California law gives a right to limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information, we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger that right beyond the service-provider and permitted-business-purpose uses described above.
California residents may use an authorized agent to submit a request where permitted by law. We may require the agent and/or the consumer to provide proof of authorization and to verify identity directly with us.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.
If we deny a California or other U.S. state privacy request and applicable law gives you an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing support@housiqhq.com.
EEA, UK, And Switzerland
You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. For EEA, UK, and Swiss users, this policy is intended to provide the information required by Articles 13 and 14-style transparency rules, including our purposes, legal bases, recipient categories, retention approach, and transfer practices.
If you do not provide information we need to create an account, process a subscription, authenticate access, or respond to a support request, we may be unable to provide those parts of the service.
