Recurring work with a named owner
Daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal chores each get an owner and a schedule, so nothing depends on one person noticing it is due.
A household app for the work that repeats, built so it does not all land on one person.
HousIQ is made by Dravara LLC. It exists because the hardest part of running a home is rarely the chores themselves. It is holding the list: knowing what is due, noticing what has been missed, and remembering it on behalf of everyone else.
Daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal chores each get an owner and a schedule, so nothing depends on one person noticing it is due.
Most chore apps track tasks. HousIQ records who completed what over time, so an uneven split is something you can see rather than something you argue about.
The free plan is permanent. The paid plan is $5.99 a month or $59 a year. There are no ads, and household data is never sold.
HousIQ is built and operated by Dravara LLC. It is a small operation rather than a large company, which is why the roadmap is driven by what households actually report rather than by a quarterly plan. Support goes to a real inbox at support@housiqhq.com and is answered by the people who build it.
Couples splitting housework and wanting to know whether the split is real. Families assigning age-appropriate chores, where a child needs their own simple list and the adults need control of it. Shared houses where the rota keeps collapsing onto whoever minds the mess most. And people living alone who want the upkeep out of their head. It is a poor fit for one-off projects, shopping lists, or anything office-shaped. HousIQ is built for work that repeats.
One household plan, $5.99 monthly or $59 annually, covering everyone in the household. The free plan covers one household with unlimited recurring chores and people, and the Today and Assign views, and it does not expire or ask for a card. Rooms, Kids, and Reports are what the subscription buys. There are no ads. There will not be ads: HousIQ has a children's mode, and advertising to children is not a business we want.
A household's chores, rooms, and completion history are stored so the app can work across devices and show history over time. That data is not sold and is not used to build advertising profiles. A household can be deleted, which removes its members, tasks, rooms, routines, and rewards. The privacy policy sets out the detail.
HousIQ runs in a browser on phones, tablets, and computers, and as an Android app through Google Play. The App Store release is being prepared; on iPhone and iPad, HousIQ also works in Safari and can be added to the Home Screen. Work finished without a connection is saved on the device and syncs when the connection returns.
Start with the part that causes the most trouble now: unclear ownership, a room falling behind, a child's list, or the first household setup.
Open Today to see personal tasks, work assigned to everyone, due times, and what still needs an owner.
See which rooms keep falling behindOpen Rooms to see where overdue chores and recurring work are collecting.
Keep each child's task list focusedOpen Kids to see the simpler list children use while adults keep the full household view.
Preview your first setupSee how people, rooms, routines, and the first recurring tasks become a shared household plan.
Bring over the rooms, routines, and recurring work you want everyone to follow. Keep one household with as many recurring chores and people as you need, plus the Today and Assign views, at no cost and with no card. Rooms, Kids, and Reports come with a plan.
New households get 14 days of Rooms, Kids, and Reports without a credit card. That access ends automatically and does not create a charge. After the 14 days, nothing is deleted and nothing is charged. Today and Assign stay available on the free plan.

No, and it will not. HousIQ has a children's mode, and advertising to children is not a business we want to be in. The subscription is how it earns.
No. Household data is stored so the app can work across devices and show history over time. It is not sold and is not used for advertising profiles.
The App Store release is being prepared. In the meantime, open HousIQ in Safari and choose Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens like an app and works without a connection.
Yes. An assistant can read the household, mark chores done, add recurring work, and see who is carrying the load. A household member creates a key from the developer console, and that key reaches only their own household and only what their role allows. The specification is at housiqhq.com/openapi.json. There is no MCP server yet.
